Shalimar Restaurant

Most affordable dining experience you’ll get here. I brought my Arabic friend here and he also liked it very much. They have separate section for families. One of the must visit place in Riyadh. I definitely recommend this place to my friends

طلبت من عندهم دجاج أفغاني كان لذيذ الصراحة
و برضوا دجاج تكا مسالا لذيذ
الرز البرياني طلبته كان تقريبا عادي م فيه نكهة برياني ابدا
الحساب كان 70 السعر بالنسبة للطلب حلو صراحة

Pathetic - i really wish if they had any chance to learn what is manners and customer service.
Food is decent though quantity is poor.however the staff is so pathetic and ill attitude for the prize they charge.

The taste is really bland, ordered the mutton and chicken biryani both lacked taste, completely flavorless. The quality of the rice and meat is good but the taste isn’t great. I think they’re focusing more on the Arab customer’s taste.

المطعم حلو بس مشكلته الويترس يعني مره يشخصن اي كلمه اقولها بس والله الاكل مرره حلو والاسعار خيال

جربنا كثير هندي تقريباً الطعم متشابه فقط مختلف الاسم والديكور. شليمار افضل مطعم هندي جربت للان اذا تبي اكل هندي صح! والاسعار ارخص مطعم هندي يمكن يمر عليك جربته مره وراح ارجع كل مره له.

اشوفه من افضل وارخص وانظف المطاعم الهنديه اللي زرتها
طلبت من عندهم:
- برياني ساده كان لذيذ وحلو بس الكميه قليله.
- دجاج لودياني مورج جميل ولذيذ وخفيف ويذوب بالفم.
- دجاج 65 كان بالنسبه لي افضل شي اخذته من عندهم حلو وبطريقه مختلفه عن المتعارف عليه.
- دجاج بالزبده ثاني الذ طبق ذقته عندهم حلو ولذيذ.
- سمبوسه خضار جداً لذيذه برضه وكبيره ماهي بصغير يعني احسب حسابك لا تزيد بالطلبات.
- وطلبت شوربة ذرة الصراحه غريبه وحلاها زايد كانه مضاف عليها سكر وخاليه من الملح وطلبت ايضا شوربة ثمار بحريه كانت سبايسي بزياده مع اني نبهت عليه تكون مو سبايسي قال هذي بهاراتها ياليت لو تحاولون تختارون بهارات مو سبايسي للناس اللي ماتاكل سبايسي هذي الطلبين للامانه اللي كانت مزعلتني منهم.
اما بالنسبه للعيوب العامه:
- مواقف دايماً زحمة واتوقع الحي كامل يعاني من هالشي.
- صالة العوايل صغيره جداً ولا تتسع لعدد كبير.
- الموظفين جداً بشوشين ولطيفين في التعامل ولكن يعيب عليهم التشتت والتاخر في تلبية طلبات الزبائن.
لكن بشكل عام اعيد التجربة مره اخرى لجمال المطعم وجودته ونظافته واتمنى ان يتم تعديل الملاحظات المذكورة.

Food is tasty but quite oily.so probably not good for a regular meal. But the taste good and it is catered to the South Asian palette.

Good food.not expensive.crab and prawns are good
Even the vegetarian food is good.staff is very active, polite and welcoming.even the simplest item of rice plate is also tasty.certain conventional kerala food items are also available.

Renovated and new look with family section as well. Good tastes good and very clean. However service need to be improved

Famous hyderabadi Resturant like khana khazana.crowded during afternoon and night time.
They r trying there best to provide in food in hygienic way but some area need improvement.
Taste is super and quality is sufficient for 5 to 6 people.all food items are yummy and worth of money to visit this place.
Will try to visit Shalimar again.

I’ve visit the restaurant as I’ve heard they serve a good food but unfortunately I’ve been waiting for the order for more than 25 minutes then I left, the employee tells me it well be ready in 5-10 minutes but I get bored and leave.
Unexpected and unaccepted service

Below average restaurant. Unhealthy oily and tasteless food. My stomach was upset after eating from here. I will never visit this place again.

اكلهم حلو بس المشكله في التعامل الكاشير مايفهم العربي ويحطون لحم شوي اهم شي يبيعون فقط واذا زعل عليك يقولك مافي وهو عنده اسلوب دفش

من افضل المطاعم الهندية الي اكلتها، اسعارهم جدا حلوة. المكان نظيف والموظفين خدومين. وعندهم اطباق كثير ومختلفة والي اعجبني الخيارات النباتية الكبيرة الي عندهم ️️. اكيد راح ارجع اكل عندهم.

ممتاز ولذيذ والطعم مب حار مرة، يعتبر الفلفل معقول، النظافة الصراحة ما أدري عنها لكن إن شاء الله أنه نظيف

The taste here is good and some dishes reminds me of Mangalorean dishes. Overall good and friendly staff especially Mahesh.

Not worth it. Only combination liked was Jeera rice and Dal Tadka.
Thandoori chicken was not done well. Mutton Sheek Kabab was not that great. Egg burji was okay, felt like i was having it in some place in Mumbai.

Very good hotel for lunch and dinner. You will get typical Indian food will lot of varieties in veg and non veg. Biryani and side dishes are very tasty. Cheap and best hotel to go for lunch and dinner.

Veg thali here is very reasonable priced at 8SAR and taste wise & quantity wise good.

Brain masala sometimes have raw smell, try at your own risk.

Chicken biryani and Punjabi thali are an instant hit.

Tea generally they will serve when the crowd is less or maybe during evening time.

I found it just ok.basically personally I'll not go there as food was not tasty.i ordered punjabi thali and it took almost 20 to 25 min to deliver.that much time for such food i can not afford.

The food is OK quality, chicken in any curry is not cooked well.instead it is just a mix of curry and boiled chicken. Staff makes you a favour serving food. Not very attending. Visited 5 times but test is same on all curries.

MashaAllah.unbelievable very tasty food and sitting is good. Tried brain masala (wow wow) butter chicken (more than prefect) Butter naan is number one Mutton seek Kebab is excellent and very tasty (challenging five star hotels) waiters are very polite and respectful.even the cashies is welcome.thanks for this great experience will go again and again sure inshaALLAH

It's a good hotel.
Food is tasty as well prise also cheap.
There u can get all Indian dishes.

Lot of options are there for South Indian food. Dedicated family section is there. Decent food with decent pricing.

Serving slow on Friday after prayer. Need improvement with immediate effect. Great tasty Biryani

All dishes are same taste and no different between chicken and mutton or veg dishes, if you order Chinese and dry items they are adding colour, so don't eat the colour food or not order

Best choice for South Indian & Chinese Variety. My recommendation - Shalimar Mutton Special, Butter Garlic Naan.

This restaurant is behind hyatt mall, it's has good taste, cheap rates, best for bachelor's, and for family they have partition therefore partial privacy is possible. Chicken tandoori is best. Specially Chinese items have good taste. Service is fast and staff is cooperative.

There is big problem for parking and no separate rout for family section, people are sitting exactly near the gate of family section, and hotel people are giving Chai to Tham,

There to try their thali meal, which is only available for lunch. We love their Punjabi thali, quantity is more than enough for one person.

We love their other items too like chicken tikka is a must order when you go to shalimar. Dosa is also good. I personally love it’s food, either it is veg or non vegetarian. They have idli and vada also but only for breakfast, which we’ve never tried. Hopefully try it soon.

Budget restaurant, Good for Indian Cuisine. Popular for South Indian Dishes and Biriyani. Punjabi Thali is also recommended. Only Singles Section is available. The food taste and quality is value for money.

Not bad restaurant. But the tikka Biriyani is not so tasty. If you don’t like Kerala style Biriyani.
Mutton Kolhapuri (spicy) is not so spicy, all though the mutton is soft and tastes good. Scrambled eggs not cooked properly and tastes ok. Omelette and tea are also not so great.

This is fabulous restaurant nearby me.if someday I want change my plan and I want to eat something special something different something tastier I like to go Shalimar. There is also my friend who gives me always a better service. Thanks Shalimar thanks Ganesh bhai

Shalimar is one of the best Indian restaurants in Riyadh. Staff are very cooperative. One of the guy name Ganesh who is surving food is nice and Gentle.
Food taste is good.

My mutton curry tasted great but the content of my parcel is 2 piece bone and 1 piece flesh. Fast service.

This is the very first time I'm having food from there and they didn't give me a chance to regret. The dishes were very much satisfying and we enjoyed all.
