I wish to thank everyone involved in the preparation and presentation of the meal sent to our work place today . It was exceptional in every way and added so much to our enjoyment !
We will certainly be ordering again and have already passed on your restaurant details to all colleagues as per their demand !
*Fabulous food and so well presented, thank you once again Deewan Restaurant*
Very very very much expensive.as compared with other restaurants. 1 full mutton karahi 120+vat means 138 riyall.very much expensive.low taste.dont go there.save the money, use alternate restaurants
Dewan Restaurant's biryani is a tantalizing fusion of aromatic spices and tender ingredients that delivers an exceptional burst of authentic flavors in every bite. A must-try for biryani enthusiasts seeking a delightful culinary adventure.
The buffet was good and a very spicy Indian food. A reasonable price all you can eat for 39 SAR during lunch. A good recommendation for a lunch break food.
Chicken karahee is so so.not appreciated. Chicken pieces are good. Chicken biryani needs more attention of the management as rice are dry and only coloured but no taste of Biryani. It should be named as coloured rice but not Biryani.
One of the finest restaurants in Riyadh, Food Quality, Service and Ambiance is great, The arrival experience can be better with personalized touch. Will visit again and recommend others to also try.
We ordered mutton leg with rice. The taste was good but the leg was overfried it was flaky and crunchy at some parts. The leg was also relatively small. Prices are not cheap as well. Service is also just okay. This meal cost 149 SAR.
Unfortunately we found the taste and food quality absolutely worst. From chef to reception and waiters, none is professional. Totally a waste of money. Not going to visit again!
Very disappointed 2nd time that the take away order was packed wrong and when I get back home food is missing. Try to call on given numbers but nobody pick the call. Very poor service. I am now reducing rating for this resturant.
Got their for lunch buffet, food os good but service was bad. They need to stop people coming in when most of the tables are full as their staff couldn't cope with the requirements of people present inside and having lunch.
Bad food, mismanaged staff, dirty chairs and no one to attend when you need them. Today was the first time we visited and probably will be the last. Experience was not as expected. We reached at 10 pm on a Friday evening and got a table in 5mins and a lady walked up to us and took an order in the next 10mins. After a good long wait of 45mins, I notice ppl around me who came after us getting their orders to which I bring to the notice of the staff that they have forgotten our order. Another long wait till we see some food on our table (it's now over an hour since the order) They brought the gravy and bread and the starter now forgot the rice, we start eating starter tastes nothing Pakistani/Indian and gravy doesn't taste good, just about warm. Another long wait and we have the rice (cold, probably something that was from some other dish-may be biryani rice) and fish (uncooked in center and burnt on sides) It was probably worst places i have been to in a while. The best thing we had there was the Cooke. Now time for Bill, we head to reception as we didn't want to wait another hour, to the surprise we have to repeat our order to get Bill, So we did and paid the bill.
Priced fine but not worth the price. Quantity is less than you would expect and taste probably not something expected from a Pakistani restaurant.
Average resto with regular taste… nothing special there… Just fill ur self with regular Asian food… i am giving 3 stars but they dont deseve. Please justify the taste of ur food… I recommend owner should test the taste regularly.
This cozy Pakistani restaurant has left a moderate impressions! The house depicts nice ambience has hired hospitable hosts and served our dishes deliciously. However they have a limited options to choice. A bit pricy and still a good option to hop in.
A very open spaced restaurant. Friendly staff. The decor definitely needs changing ASAP! The place was empty, except fir the staff, eating at the tables. For sr51 you'd expect more of a variety, but not here. There were 3 or 4 grilled chicken dishes. These dishes were extremely dry. There were 2 types of rice, these were sticky not individual pieces. The curry dishes were very oily! The dessert was scarce, 3 in total, to my recollection. Overall I would give it less than 1, but the app doesn't allow that. Recommended? You must be kidding! Give your money to charity.
On Friday, 10th Dec 2021, after Juma prayer took parcel chicken biryani. When went home started to eat, it was salty! And full of food colouring, Seems to be chicken not cleaned well! Return to the hotel, the owner refused to return the money, he told mixed well and he tasted it was good, he actually lied. To keep yourself and your family healthy , avoid to eat these type of restaurants.
I am sorry but the food was not good at all. I sincerely hope you change the chef or somehow provide quality that commensurate with prices. We were 10 people at dinner and all of us were profoundly disappointed. Only chicken karahi was edible and the rest of the dishes tasted greasy and undercooked. Kababs were mushy from inside and insipid.
Staff was courteous but inexperienced. I complained about the order which was not in line with what I had requested but no offer was made to replace it.
I was asked to pay at the counter rather than at my seat which was odd as I dined-in, also strangely itemised bill was not given.
I tried once lunch buffet which was borderline reasonable (mere pass) but ala carte at dinner was an utter let-down.
Not sure the restaurant will last long if this situation continues but best of luck!
All the above comments are intended as a candid review and a constructive criticism.
1-worst customer service, few teen agers are serving this restaurant having no idea how to deal customers.wasted time 2- Food quality not bad but if customer service is dull one order taking lot time and all waiters include cash counter all dumb. Never recommend to waste time. I hope restaurant owner should be awake on this situation.
Food was ok ok. Notying exceptional.probably better st the place next door to them. Nehari had too much salt and didnt taste like nehari, upon complaining nothing was done by the hostess to improve. Paiya had no flavor and chana was bland as well. Naan were good and fresh. Most likely won't ever go there again.
Very disastrous experience. First time was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary, but this time, oh THIS time. First thing, we got 3 plates on a 4 seat table. We asked for an extra plate and we got another plate, and the only thing this plate got cleaned by was the last table's annoying Indian kid's tounge, it was bad. We eventually got the plate changed and our food finally arrived. Then after all that, the food was COLD. Then we spent another 5 minutes waiting for the food to get reheated.
It's OK food.compared to other nearby places it's pricey they should focus more on the seasonings as its very salty.but good ambience.a little more work needed on the waiter service too.more training is needed as they r clueless about the dishes or availability or any items.wishing them all the best.
NO DOUBT FOOD IS GOOD and compitator of GARDEN RESTURANT, ENVIRONMENT SPACE IS GOOD BUT not so much variety in food specially in breakfast except buffet AND AND Amainly the SERVICE IS VERY SLOW AND TABLE BOY ARE LOOKS LAZY WHILE WALKING AND BRINGING THE ORDERS NOT WITH WELCOME CHARM FACES OR SMILES!
A nice addition to our desi food restaurants. Good food quality and taste and reasonable price. But they keep changing their buffet option s and days don't know why.so make sure before going. Call them and then visit.
A big disappointment. Everything seem to finish and not filled again timely. The only thing thats attrative is that the resturaunt is spacious. Food quality needs improvement and thats the main selling point of a restuarunt. It would be difficult to compete in Hara which offers cheaper and tastier pakistani foods.
“Pleasant Ambience”, “Hospitable, Courteous and Well Trained Staff”, “Delicious food at a reasonable price” is how I would describe “Deewaan Restaurant”. A perfect place for you and your family to experience the authentic taste of Pakistan with of course the chefs own twist. Though the menu is limited, it is well balanced. Getting a parking spot would be a challenge in the vicinity.
Best Services and delicious food with original taste.their whole staff is so welcoming. Nice ambience and seating arrangements. Their best chef Mr. Khuram has magical taste in his hands. I wish them great successful future ahead
I first visited the place with a friend in June and have been there six times since. The quality and taste of the food is remarkable, especially the Nihari and the Biryani. The BBQ is perfectly cooked; juicy and crisp at thr same time. Their menu is currently limited to a few items only, but all items are wonderful. Recommend for lunch buffet for best value.
If they continue with this, they surely have the capacity to be one of the best Pakistani food places in Riyadh.
I have tried there breakfast and dinner as well honestly just the ambiance of the place is good but food quality is not that good there rates are high compare to other competitive restaurants which offer desi food people have over rated this place
Highly recommended for Pakistani and North Indian food lovers. Authentic taste. Freshly made and served. Staff is very polite and supportive. Good ambience to dine in for families. Lunch Buffet has limited dishes but good at that price!
