Once again 23.1.21 I went to chennai spice kitchen the taste and quality, quantity had little different.chilli idely gud.podi dosai very very bad waste of money and parcel chutney and sambar also very very less quantity this time more much disappointed
After coming to Riyadh, have been searching for the Chennai style mutton Biriyani. Finally found the place, very good Mutton biriyani with good quantity and value for money
A south Indian special restaurant with decent snacks options. It serves common dishes including idli- sambhar, vada, variety of dosas, utthapam, pongal etc.you will also enjoy the milk tea n coffee served there. It is a small shop cum restaurant with seating arrangement to accommodate 30-35 individuals. It doesn't have a special or decent arrangement to attract public coming with family. Hence parcel option can be opted by them for breakfast items, to enjoy with family on a holiiday morning.
Food is very tasty and cheap but kitchen packing guy who is wearing cap or toppi is always look at u in a rude and cheap way. Also for two poories they pack sambar as in scoop only but the packing cover is very big snacks very good gulab jamoon for one riyal all kerala type snacks available no swiping card. Which was earlier available noodles and fridlice little over spicy. Beef pepper fry is tasty but spicy too much vadai is little dull and non cripsy. Tea is very good onwer is very kind and collective and very attentive. Servers are good.
Always used to have a food here where we can experience good taste of TamilNadu dishes. I love it. If you like to feel the taste of TamilNadu dishes in Saudi Arabia then make sure you visit here for the food a day.
Good food, but if you want to sit with family in separation - this is not the place for you. This is more like a fast food restaurant than a seated restaurant.
I had their VEG THAALI and NON veg THALLI meal in lunch.both are awesome in traditional south indian's taste. Realy this is good feast for my tummy and my tongue.thanks to chennai spice kitchen. Price also very nominal they have charged 20 SAR for non veg thali with 20 items include 7 dry items. 15 SAR for veg thali with vada and paayasam (which one in tamil culture food)
Been there only once, service is quick but many options were missing from the menu but whatever was served was of decent taste. Kal Dosa was good one may try it.
I haven't tried much variety other then breakfast and In that the common one dosa and pongal. So I can say cheese special dosa was nice. If you are searching for pakka chai near by then you should visit there. Ambiance is ok and restaurant is affordable in that locality.
Best south indian food on best and unbeatable price. Taste is as good as Al Maas restaurant but the price is less and sorry, family dining is in your own car. They do serve it in the car
