I buy all our gold and diamond from Malabar in KSA and India as well.
First of all the India guy outside managing the crowd is worst coz there is only 2 3 people to manage.
Its still 10: 12 pm and the store supposed to be closed at 10: 30 pm considering the pandemic and they rejected me did not allow to buy.
It was my last day in KSA for my Vacation.
I had to go to the local shop next to Malabar named
Sona jewellery and believe me they have good customer service.
Very poor service at Malabar Gold Al Balad.

Very good designs of jewelries. Certified gold, diamonds and platinum. But I wasn't able to get the size I want. Size for wedding bands are limited.

The front desk sales men are always frowning, the problem is Indian people are major bargain hunters which also become difficult to convert prospect into sales.this causes the front desk people to frown a valid gesture.

Good designs and nice staff who can talk to you. A good variety is available on gold design and designer jewelry.

The welcoming and the serving of the salesmen in India is nothing compared to here. Feels like we as customers have to ask for them to sell to us and show more options. Didn’t expect malabar to lower their bar in service. Lulu Price Fawaz branch.

Initially i gave 3 stars, today i am reducing to 1 star.i wish there is 0 star.i had very bad experience yesterday at malabar gold (6/8/2019). About 1 year ago me and my wife started monthly installment plan which accumulates the amount of gold on the date we paid the installment.for example if i pay 400 riyals this month, we get equivalent grams of gold in our account which can be redeemed after the installments are over.so after 11 months installment we had paid 4400 riyals eqivalent to 30.045grams.yesterday when we approached the shop to redeem, the price of gold for 30.045 grams was 5047 riyals.but after we spent around 1 hour in shop and chose some diamond jewel, they told sorry the scheme doesnt apply for diamond so they can reduce only 4400 riyals not 5047 from bill amount.so to avoid loss we tried to select ruby jewel.again when we went to billing they told, they can deduct only 4400 not 5047. After big arguement they told they cant give gold-diamond or gold-ruby. Atlast they made us to select gold jewel which my wife didnt like much.also they refused to deduct 200 riyals which they mentioned they will deduct at the time of purchase as offer when starting the scheme. Today we decided we will never go to any Malabar gold shop. And i suggest you guys to avoid malabar gold and diamond and go to other shops which are even cheaper than this shop.

Pathetic experience. As per their policy if their product is returned within 3 days, without any loss or damage, there will be no deductions. In my case i went back to the shop to return within 12 hours, they said they will dedu t 30% from the value. Even at the back of the invoice the policy mentioned is deduction of 4% but the guy wouldnt listen. The reason i wanted to return is the over pricing of product which to my mistake i didnt check while purchasing. Value of ring as per prevailing gold rates was almost 550 riyal whereas tge price of ring was 970. To my surprise, the tiny stones which required a telescope to see, were uncut diamonds. (well cant challange that since i am layman). Anyway, the loss was nominal for me but the attitude of those indian salesmen was so pathetic, i decided never to go there again.

No service like b4 I'm a regular customer but this time I disappointed all Arabs no one knows anything about model if u sum things they will give you sum other bcoz I don't speak Arabic they don't know English.

They are not mention making charge in the receipt.so. Something they are hiding. I can feel like this. So I am sorry
