My first time visiting the restaurant and it will not be the last, since I visited with my best friend who is a regular there she knew what to order. The garlic fried rice and the garlic shrimps are beyond my expectations we truly enjoyed them and I tried the wagyu gyoza they are juicy and tasty but I'm more in favor of the traditional gyoza, for drinks we tried the shochu ginger a refreshing and nice drink, shoutout to Sara our hostess and the staff for their amazing service.

It was my first visit of the place with my friend I first reserved a table through the phone the nice lady who picked up the phone was very polite and welcoming. Once we arrived they greeted us nicely all of the staff and I would like to say that I really loved their hospitality. I love the vibes of the place, as for the food it’s super good if this is your first visit i recommend you to ask Ms manal to be your waiter as she is very friendly and helpful. Manal is a great waitress thank you so much.

تقريبا كلمره اطلب نفس انواع السوشي و هي اكثر شي طلباً عندهم
احب الابتايزر الشريمب كنافه لذيذ.
سعره يعتبر غالي.
المشروبات لذيذه عندهم بس كلمره يصغر الكاس او يزيد الثلج فا عالطول يخلص
المكان حقهم عادي جدا صراحتا ياليت يجددونه يعني مقارنتا بالسعر المفروض يكون فانسي اكثر من كذا بكثير.

أقل من عادي لا يستحق التجربة نظرا لسعره المبالغ فيه, أفضل طلب أخذته كانت سلطة الكريسبي وكانت عادية والمميز فيها إضافة شيبس الخضروات وهذا موجود في سوبرماركت التميمي ب 10 ريال هنا حطوها على سلطة عادية وصارت قيمتها حدود ال 100 ريل, مو سيئة السلطة بس بنفس هذي القيمة سلطات مطعم cheesecake factory أفضل بكثير, النودلز ما عجبتني كل مكوناتها و السوشي ما عجبني بس لا تاخذون علم أنا ما أفرق بين أنواعه يمكن إختياري كان غير جيد, وكنافة الروبيان ذقتها في مطاعم ثانية كانت ألذ من هذا المطعم مخلين طعمها حالي جدا.
ماعنده عصائر طبيعية مافي غير المشروبات الغازية وسعرها حدود 22 و الموهيتو وسعرها يتراوح بين ال50 و60 ريال.
سألتهم عن سبب مبالغة الأسعار قالي المشرف أنه بسبب أنهم يشترون مكونات الطعام بسعر غالي وهذا الكلام غير صحيح البيبسي الي شريته ب 22 ريال من مطعمهم هو نفسه الي أقدر أشتريه من البقالة ب 3 ريال والسلطة المكون الرئيسي لها الخس وسعره بالسوق ما يتعدى 5 ريال ووتكفي أكثر من طبق و دفعت عليها أكثر من 100 ريال.
الجلسات غير مريحة
تعامل الموظفين جيد باستثناء شخص طلب مني مسح تعليقي في قوقل عشان ما يخسر زباين وكان إلحاحه مزعج اضطريت أمسح الكلام قدامه و أرجع أكتب بعد ما أطلع من المطعم عشان أفتك من إزعاجه.

بإختصار المطعم عادي حسب وجهة نظري وسعره المبالغ فيه مخليه بايخ, الخيارات في الخبر للمطاعم كثيره وبنفس القيمة ويمكن أقل تقدر تستمتع بتجربة مطعم آخر و تكون راضي.

The food was OK. For what you're paying absolutely not worth it. Super slow service small portions. Some food had a strange Indian spice flavor I didn't like. Sorry but I'm giving it two stars.

Contemporary Japanese Restaurant

I ordered sushi from takara and it was the best sushi i ever had. The food is superb and unbelievably delicious. I ate the kunafa shrimp tempura and it was HEAVEN in my mouth! I had the pleasure to try the crunchy ebi maki. It was one of the most luscious dishes i’ve ever had. I highly recommend takara for sushi. I’m planning to visit the restaurant soon and try other dishes. You should reserve before going through Whatsapp or call.

مطعم ياياني عصري
طلبت سوشي من تاكارا و كان ألذ سوشي اكلته. الأكل لذيذ مرا. أكلت كنافة الروبيان و كان ألذ شي أكلته. ما اقدر اوصف طعمه من كثر ما هو لذيذ. بكل صدق طعمه خيالي. جربت إيبي ماكي المقرمش و كان واحد من أكثر الأطباق اللذيذة يلي اكلتها. أنصح كل احد انكم تجبروا السوشي من عند تاكارا. بأذن الله قريبا بروح للمطعم و بجرب اطباق ثانية من عندهم. لازم الحجز بالواتساب او تتصلوا عليهم لأنه ما شاء الله دائما زحمة.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND SUSHI WAS EXCELLENT EACH ITEM WE ORDERED TASTED VERY FRESH AND HAD IT'S OWN UNIQUE FLAVOR. I have visited this restaurant on 28th of Feb and got a very bad experience!

The worst service I have ever had through my entire life, I’ve booked a table 2 hours in prior to my arrival and got that booking approved.

Unfortunately, I got surprised when I arrived by telling me that my name wasn’t listed and I had to wait for another 40 minutes although I showed them my booking documents!

During which lots of people came and got their tables and I’m still waiting.about that I talked with the same person who was the “ owner “ of this place and told me that he didn’t talk to me and I have to wait for ANOTHER 45 minutes! What!

They are like evaluating people based on their shape and dress which is disrespectful and that’s the truth!

The worst experience that I will never repeat it again.

I loved the place, just ask them to put less lettuce on the Sashimi Seaweed Salad if you gonna order it.

The menu is a bit pricey, but you get the experience of visiting a luxury Japanese restaurant.

Excellent experience. Delicious food, and outstanding customer service! Truly appreciate it! Must try the spicy zaatar edamame, katara sig salad, negimaki, shrimp kunafa, noodles (so yummy!) And the fried ice cream for dessert

The latest addition to Khobar’s growing gastronomic scene, Takara is a Japanese restaurant. I was very excited to try this place. Getting in through the door you immediately notice the low lighting and chill-out music, not the usual vibes in Khobar restaurants. The place just opened recently so I won’t say much about the service, it’s a learning process, and some people learn faster than others, no big deal. Unfortunately most of the food we tried was not up to a high standard or even an average standard, definitely does not match the prices, the tuna had a funky smell and taste. The only thing that was edible and enjoyable was the salmon maki and the nigiri, other than that don’t bother.

5/5 with the food but the service and hospitality is poor, the waiter gave me false info about portion of the order and the quantity was registered wrong

This is one of finest Japanese restaurant in Khobar, the atmosphere is cozy, I felt the music was a little bit loud. The lady (Amjad) who welcomed us was lovely and she arrange for us table for three when I already booked for two persons although the day I visited the restaurant was crowded.
We had the signature salad, kunafa shrimp (recommended by the owner) vegetable yaki udon and toma maki.
All the dishes was excellent!
I would recommend to book before you show up specifically during weekend.

الجلسه ممتازه. جوده الاكل متفاوته اجمل طبق من الي جربت شرمب كنافه. بعض الاطباق الكميه مضحكه. عيبه سعره غالي جدا مقارنه بالجوده و الخدمه!

In general a good restaurant with some nice signature dishes and a solid classic sushi selection, the staff seemed a little bit overwhelmed when we came by for dinner which caused some delays in getting the food.
