How and why this restaurant is still open will always be a mystery to me. The food is terrible and way overpriced for its poor quality. I tried the shawarma and chicken fajita sandwich.

The shawarma is nothing like it used to be and it wasn’t that great to begin with, and the chicken fajita…. My god if they cook that in mexico they’ll get deported immediately. Absolutely unbeatable any boofiya in saudi makes better and cleaner sandwiches for one fifth of the price

Nothing beats Maxim's Shawarma

I have had Ramadan iftar there a few times. They offer a buffet and also a set menu which I opt for.
The quality of their food is excellent and nice outdoor seating

من اقدم المطاعم اللبنانية، عندهم وجبتين رئيسية كل يوم،، والباقي ساندويشات،،

الي مو متعود على الأكلات اللبنانية يمكن ماتعجبه الوجبات، مثل الملوخية تفرق عن الطريقة السعودية، و اللحم مع الرز يفرق، بشكل عام انا ماعندي مشكلة بالتنوعين لذلك احب اجرب اغلب الأكلات.

بالاسعار المرتفعة اللي وضعوها بعد التجديد. تقدر تروح مطاعم افخم و احسن منه.
لا انصح به. سعر عالي و جودة اقل من عادي

مطعم قديم في الخبر. لكن عريق
جربت عنده الساندوتشات مثل النخاعات و اللسانات.
روعه و نظيف.

جربة ٥ اصناف مختلفة وجربت الحلا بالاجمال تجربة مخيبة وسيئة المطعم يقدم لك جودة طعم متدنية جداً يعني طبخهم اقل من البيسك لا نكهات ولاقوام ولا سعر زي الناس الله يعني حرفياً كان ماكل في اسوء بوفيه تسوي نفس المنتجات

If you are expecting this to be the Maxim of your childhood then you shall be disappointed. It seems like a new owner with a different vision.

First of all, the furniture is too nice for the old hole in the wall that it used to be. Now it feels like a bistro style casual dining place. So you might have to wear your nicer thobe/ jeans. Anyway, everyone knows that the old Maxims were not somewhere that you would want to sit because it was just too crowded to be a peaceful dine in experience. Maybe eating a sandwich while sitting down doesn't make sense anyway and that's probably why the toasted chicken sandwich with garlic sauce tasted different. The lack of garlic sauce didn't help either.

Secondly, if you were one of those people who would order the Shawrma back in the old days, I can tell you that neo-Maxim could probably do much better nowadays. There are so many Shawerma artists in town with their secret sauces so the neo-Maxim needs to find its place in this new reality.

Finally, if you do end up sitting down on the comfortable seating, then maybe think of it as an entirely different place and forget the past. Its more like a Lebanese sit down place now. Salads are decent and the appetizers are presented well. Nice pottery style porcelain serving dishes make it pleasing to the eyes. Service at the table was instant.

Be ready to pay its not the budget place that it used to be.

انا سبق وقريت التعليقات ان المطعم اصبح سيء قلت بتأكد بنفسي وفعلاً طلبت فهيتا عباره عن سنادوتش فلفل رومي ومع اني قايله يحط كل شي بس جاني ساده والصامولي غير محمص بالشكل المعتاد غير ذلك والصدمه ان الأسعار صارت دبل السندوتشات كنا ناخذها ب ٧ الان ب ١٣
أعتقد انها اخر زياره

طلبت شاورما ٤ لحم و٢ دجاج علشان ناكلهم بالسيارة استلمت الطلب وانا قدام المحل فتحنا الشاورما الحم علشان ناكل طلعت بااااردة ولا كاني الان استلمتها بس اكون قدام المطعم وتطلع باردة وغير كذا غالي الصراحه مابرجع اطلب منه ثاني ولا بنصح احد يطلب منه ابدا

This restaurant Shawarma is very delicious but expensive but worth it chicken shawarma 12 sar beef shawarma is 14. Best part of this restaurant is they use fresh meat

للأسف لم يعد كالسابق (قبل الترميم). تغيرت الإدارة و تغير الموظفون و تغير الكثيييييير من الساندوتشات التي كاانت سبب شهرة المطعم. حتى مواقف السيارات تغيرت و صاارت بفلوس. أما الأسعار فحدث ولا حرج. السندوتش قبل الترميم كاان بخمسة ثم سبعة. الآن بعد الترميم صار ب١٣ و ١٥. ههههههه يا لطيف. ساندوتش بسعر دجاجة كاملة. و الله و الله إني كنسلت الطلب يوم شفت الفاتورة. شي لا يصدق. لن أكرر الزيارة و لن أنصح غيري به.

One of the oldest Lebanese restaurants in Khobar. A variety of meals on daily basis, as well as great sandwiches. Food is tasty. Service is good. Parking can be found outside, limited spots, but you can manage to find a place around the area.

المطعم تغير عن اول 180 درجة صار جدا جدا جدًا سيئ الدرجة انك ما تقدر تكمل الساندوتش سيئ الى درجة كنت ميت جوع يعني اي شي بكله حتى لو كان عادي بس هذا كان في منتهى السوء ابداً ماانصح احد يجربه

The place was on of my favorite places for sandwiches, but after they reopened, most of their staff have changed, and the sandwiches quality have completely changed to no taste or flavor. Even the Shawarma that we used to love, the meat has no flavor at all nor taste…they whole place became a total disappointment.
It breaks our heart that the place we love for the past 30 years at least, have turned to be a total disappointment. The place we give it (3 out of 10) in terms of food taste or flavor.

The interior of the restaurant doesn't really match with the sandwich station that was surprising for me. We ordered a shishtawuk and a sujook (sausage) sandwich. We had very little protein in the sandwiches but they tasted good. The price range is a bit of a frowning experience because the portions are a bit stingy. Overall I understand the loyalty the people have to support a business from their own country or culture, but the prices should be a bit lower or just increase the portion sizes, being a bit generous atleast with the sandwiches would bring more customers.

One of the best sandwich places for over 30 years. Unfortunately it got closed but hopefully it will re-open new and strong.

كان ماكسيم مطعم الساندويتشات الشاورما وغيرها المفضل لي ولعائلتي لأكثر من عشر سنين ولكن اليوم طلبنا ساندوتشات شاورما لحم وكانت نوعية اللحمة قاسية وصعبة المضغ والنكهة مش لذيذة والدجاج مزنخ والثوم قليل جدا و طلبنا ساندوتشات مقانق و سووا ساندوتشات مقالي مكانها و حتى المقالى كانت سيئة والقرنبيط مش مقلية كفاية. كانوا قاسيين.
أتمنى ان يعود المطعم الى نفس المستوى يلى كان عليه السنين الماضية.

من عام ٢٠٠٧ م عرفت هذا المطعم والفضل يعود للسيد شين والسيد شاكر المطوع وحرصت انا استمتع كل يوم ثلاثاء بصيادية السمك اللبنانية والى هذه اللحظة لايمكن اذا كنت بالقرب من الخبر أو الدمام يوم الثلاثاء ان اتناولها

من أفضل السندويشات في المنطقه من ناحية النظافه والطعم.

محافظين على جودة سندويشاتهم من ٣٠ سنه وأكثر من فرعهم الأول الصغير داخل الأحياء. لولا غلاء أسعاره كان عطيته ٥ نجوم. لكن مكسيم يبقى خيار ممتاز.
مؤخرا أضافو ساندويشين إضافيين للقائمه: ساندويش الربيان وسندويش الحلومي المشوي. ثنينهم ممتازين
The sadwitches are clean and tasty, I would rate them 5 star if they were not expensive. However they are still an excellent choice. They have added 2 new sandwiches to the menu: shrimp and grilled hallomi, they both are great!

عندهم مشكلة
من افضل النكهات في الشاورمة ، ولكن السندويش ما فيه الا نتفة لحم، ليس عندهم ميزان لكمية اللحم ، ممكن السندويش يكون عيش وخضار ونسيو يحطو فيه لحم وممكن يكون فيه شوي لحم وممكن يكون جيد (في النادر) ولكن نكهة ممتازة واسعاره جيدة لو كان سندويشهم جيد ، الكشكلة لا تستطيع ان تعتمد ام تجيب مجموعة سندويشات لعزيمة عندك ، بيقصرو رقبتك

Very decent and clean Lebanese restaurant, authentic but getting very old and needs renovation.their food is good especially their daily dishes, they're tasty and generous

I would give it 3.5 out of five. Daily meals are not that appealing but good for bachelors as an alternative to fast food. Soup and green salad are very good. Good sandwiches’ bar and fresh juice.

Plz. Try to keep and maintain the same standard in '1979 - 2017.

They have the best sandwiches in the world and I remember them many years back and still keep the quality and the taste. You can't create same taste they make the sandwiches crispy and hot then you bite into amazing softness of a bread than whatever you asked inside millet in your mouth like a butter. And if you love garlic this is you place.

الاكل جداااا سيء جدا جداا طلبنا (كبه) كان اللحم اسووود! وملياااان بهارات! مافيه طعم لحم اصلا ابداا مايندرا ايش حاطين فما اكلناه. وطلبتا ساندويتش مسحب وشيش طاووق! حاطينه بصامولي كاني طالبه من بوفيه! وغير كذا زفر زفر زفر والله ماكلناه ابداااا وسندويتش باذنجان مقبول. المتبل لذيذ بس. تجربه ماراح اكررها ولا انصح فيها لين يحسنون من الجوده ويتركون الاستهتار بتقديم الطعام بالشكل هذا

حضرنا للمطعم ١٠ مساء وبعد جلوسنا تعذر العامل ان يخدمنا او يقدم الطعام بحجه ان المطعم سيقفل الساعه ١٢ عذر غير مقبول والمكان كان فارغ من الزبائن والانوار مغلقه مكان العوائل بس نحن وعائله واحده فقط. تصرفه غير حضاري
