في نفس هذا اليوم السابع عشر من شهر رمضان في العام الثاني للهجرة النبوية الشريفة وقعت غزوة بدر الكبرى إحدى الغزوات التي شارك فيها النبي المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم صحابته الكرام رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين وهي المعركة التي انتصر فيها الحق على الباطل، وانتصر فيها المسلمون نَصَّراً مؤزراً وكانت بمثابة فتحاً على الإسلام وأهله.

Prior to the battle, the Muslims and the Meccans had fought several smaller skirmishes in late 623 and early 624. Badr, however, was the first large-scale engagement between the two forces. Advancing to a strong defensive position, Muhammad's well-disciplined force broke the Meccan lines, killing several important Quraishi leaders including the Muslims' chief antagonist Abu Jahl. [3] For the early Muslims the battle was the first sign that they might eventually defeat their enemies among the Meccans. Mecca at that time was one of the richest and most powerful cities in Arabia, fielding an army three times larger than that of the Muslims. [4] The Muslim victory also signaled to the other tribes that a new power had arisen in Arabia and strengthened Muhammad's position as leader of the often fractious community in Medina. [5]

مع الأسف تنظيم الموقع لا يليق بأول معركة بين الحق والباطل وبين الإسلام والكفر، معركة يجب ان نستذكرها دومًا وللأجيال ان يدركوا قوة الإسلام والإيمان بالله ان الله ناصرهم مهما قل عددهم وقوتهم

Subhanallah! I've been here several times alhamdulillah. It's a very calm and peaceful place. It's more rewarding and appreciating when you come here knowing the history behind this place when Rasoolullah Sallalahu alayhi wasallam and 313 Sahaba fought an army that was 1000 strong. The fight between truth and falsehood. And Allah granted victory to the Muslims.

There is a monument for the Martyrs of the Battle of Bader which Happened on 623 AD, but the real graves is nearby.
Must to see place to know the battle field of this Great battle which solidified the Moslems at the very early stage of Islam.

المقبرة محاطة بأسوار شائكة و لا يمكن الدخول للمقبرة. شهداء بدر (رضي الله عنهم) يستحقون أكثر من هذا.

The GAZWAH battle of Badr proves as a foundation of Muslim strength as they were quite a few in numbers, who were given the eventual victory against the mighty and well armed disbelievers of Qureysh. Kufaar was got astonished by having few muslims in front of them but ALLAH SUBHANTALLAH provided HIS SPECIAL ANGLES TO HELP THE MUSLIMS

I visited this place between Asar to Magrib time and found it was locked, however you can approach from backside and see inside from a small hill there. It's a nice place to visit with amazing landscape on the way

غزوة بدر (وتُسمى أيضاً غزوة بدر الكبرى وبدر القتال ويوم الفرقان) هي غزوة وقعت في السابع عشر من رمضان في العام الثاني من الهجرة (الموافق 13 مارس 624م) بين المسلمين بقيادةرسول الإسلام محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وقبيلة قريش ومن حالفها من العرب بقيادة عمرو بن هشام المخزومي القرشي.
وتُعد غزوةُ بدر أولَ معركةٍ من معارك الإسلام الفاصلة ، وقد سُميت بهذا الاسم نسبةً إلى منطقة بدر التي وقعت المعركة فيها، وبدر بئرٌ مشهورةٌ تقع بين مكة والمدينة المنورة.
بدأت المعركة بمحاولة المسلمين اعتراضَ عيرٍ لقريشٍ متوجهةٍ من الشام إلى مكة يقودها أبو سفيان بن حرب ، ولكن أبا سفيان تمكن من الفرار بالقافلة ، وأرسل رسولاً إلى قريش يطلب عونهم ونجدتهم ، فاستجابت قريشٌ وخرجت لقتال المسلمين. كان عددُ المسلمين في غزوة بدر ثلاثمائة وبضعة عشر رجلاً ، معهم فَرَسان وسبعون جملاً ، وكان تعدادُ جيش قريش ألفَ رجلٍ معهم مئتا فرس، أي كانوا يشكِّلون ثلاثة أضعاف جيش المسلمين من حيث العدد تقريباً. وانتهت غزوة بدر بانتصار المسلمين على قريش وقتل قائدهم عمرو بن هشام ، وكان عدد من قُتل من قريش في غزوة بدر سبعين رجلاً وأُسر منهم سبعون آخرون ، أما المسلمون فلم يُقتل منهم سوى أربعة عشر رجلاً ، ستة منهم من المهاجرين وثمانية من الأنصار. تمخَّضت عن غزوة بدر عدة نتائج نافعةٍ بالنسبة للمسلمين، منها أنهم أصبحوا مهابين في المدينة وما جاورها، وأصبح لدولتهم مصدرٌ جديدٌ للدخل وهو غنائم المعارك، وبذلك تحسّن حالُ المسلمين الماديّ والاقتصاديّ والمعنويّ.
